“Your attitude towards life, determines life’s attitude towards you.”
The above quote is the favorite quote of the Hillsborough Leads Group leader, Ned Parsons, a native of Mt. Union, Pennsylvania.

When asked how he became involved in the Hillsborough Leads Group, Ned stated, “I always believed in Networking and I assumed the role of facilitator when the original broke up.” Hillsborough Leads began in 2006 at Kelsey’s Café in Hillsborough. Normal attendance ranges from 30 – 35 people. Ned states he has gained many friends and business associates from being a part of the Leads group.
Ned’s goals for the Hillsborough Leads Group are to grow and become a source of service for the entire community of Hillsborough. He gives these words to anyone that is considering attending and being members of the Group, “Be Consistent and be willing to help in whatever capacity you can.”
His brother Mike (now deceased) was his mentor because he was a successful businessman.
James 4:13-16, “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil”, is Ned’s favorite scripture.
To relax, he loves working with “O” Gauge trains, riding his motorcycle and tagging along with Dotty to antique markets.
“I pray they have the wisdom and the moral character to lead this nation as it should be led”, is his prayer for the President and the Nation.
Ned would like to be remembered as “a friendly person who was willing to help where I could”.
